Somatic Psychotherapy for Anxiety, Trauma, and Life Transitions
Feel more grounded, connected, and at ease.
If you're feeling anxious, overwhelmed, disconnected from yourself, or noticing the same patterns repeating despite wanting something different, you're not alone. Sometimes we understand why we're struggling, yet still get stuck in the same loops. Other times, we move through life so quickly that we lose touch with what we're feeling, needing, or carrying in our bodies.
Somatic psychotherapy offers another way of listening to yourself. By integrating thoughtful conversation with awareness of your body's experience, we can begin noticing patterns that words alone don't always reach. Together, we'll strengthen your capacity to slow down, become more aware of what's happening inside, and respond with greater flexibility, self-compassion, and choice - even when you don't yet have all the answers.
I provide online somatic psychotherapy for adults throughout Colorado, helping clients navigate anxiety, trauma, depression, chronic stress, life transitions, relationship challenges, and the mind-body effects of stress. I also offer somatic-informed life coaching for individuals in West Los Angeles, available in person and online.
How Somatic Therapy Helps
Our experiences shape more than our thoughts. They also influence how we breathe, move, respond to stress, relate to others, and experience our bodies. Sometimes talking brings us closer to those experiences. Other times, talking can become another way of staying at a distance from them.
Somatic psychotherapy invites both conversation and body awareness into the process. Together, we'll drop in, notice what's happening in the present moment, and become curious about the patterns that have shaped the way you relate to yourself and the world. As awareness grows, so do your options for responding with greater flexibility, resilience, and self-compassion.
Rather than trying to force change, we'll create the conditions where something new has the opportunity to emerge at a pace that feels supportive and sustainable.

What to Expect
Therapy with me is collaborative and paced according to your needs. Sessions may involve conversation, and they may also include turning inward to notice what is happening beneath the level of words - your breath, body sensations, posture, impulses, or emotions - and giving space for them to express in the moment.
At times, we may stay with your story. At other times, we may gently pause and explore your present-moment experience together, especially when words alone don’t fully capture what’s happening. Over time, this can help you strengthen your ability to notice yourself more clearly and respond with greater flexibility and choice.
My goal is to create a space where you feel safe enough to explore your experience honestly, and supported enough to begin relating to yourself in new ways that feel more grounded, authentic, and sustainable.
